Along with discovering new landscapes comes the joy of enjoying customary foods of the area....
EAT

Not sure if its stereotypical to assume that boys eat more than girls - but I find that my sons are ALWAYS hungry! So no matter where we travel to, I research the eating customs and the cuisines of our destination (and food stops if we're on road trip!).
Thai food is our 'go to' - we just love it! But we found that we were used to Westernised Thai - flavours not as intense and the chilli optional. So we learnt this lesson fast and chose our meals carefully.
Thai Tummy is real! Be careful where you eat and what you drink. The boys were quite young and had plain white rice for a couple of days.....I couldn't resist the beautiful fruit of the area, but would take it back to the resort to wash before I ate it.
The resort provided some exquisite meals and we felt that we got the best of both worlds - fresh produce cooked to our liking.
